Whats with all these great chick rockers coming to my attention lately? I maybe listened to one or two girl artists all last year and this year alone I have found at least a dozen new faves in the musical world of the female persuasion. Stumbled upon Brandi Carlile while checking out my boy Jeremy Cowart’s blog where he just finished shooting her in studio. I don’t know about you but I like her.

      Her song “Have You Ever” has a fun melody and simple acoustic-folksy style. Sorta reminded me of a female Matt Costa…but I wouldn’t buy the album.
