Weepy Wife

December 31st, 2007 by admin

I made my wife cry today in the car. Don’t worry, it was a good kind of crying (i think). I don’t know if it was something I said or just the moment but we were on our way home from the library, listening to her new Ingrid Michaelson cd and there was a peppy song playing with bouncy beat. She was bobbing her head playfully along with it and I don’t really know what I said but then she started crying. I am not surprised, she cries about something at least once a day, maybe more if she is around her sister or its a special holiday of some sort. She even cried a couple other times today but I don’t even remember what they were about, she does it so often.

I tell her everytime she does it that I love it about her and I really mean it. I am not a cryer so she makes up for the both of us in spades. She knows that the only times I have cried since we have been together is when we get into serious talks about “us” and I have to get all emotional about my feelings about her. However we can’t count how many times she has cried since our first meeting. I have almost gotten to the point that if we are watching a movie I can turn to her exactly when I know she will start crying. She does it so much I have a 5th sense about it (if that doesn’t make sense you don’t know about me and my being broken in a certain area).

Anyways, she is my weepy wife and I love her dearly for it and hope she never stops or else she will become an empty shell of a human being like I am. The End.

Upcoming Films

December 31st, 2007 by admin

Just finished watching some trailers to movies coming out this next year and here are a few worth mentioning:

HANCOCK -July 2, 2008

Been a while since Will Smith has taken on a comedic role, even if its a dark comedy role (not the skin color, the comedic style). Looks a lot better than the horrible attempt at poking fun at the super hero genre that was “My Super Ex-Girlfriend”.

HELLBOY II - July 11, 2008

Everyone knows I love a good sci-fi flick and even more so, a sci-fi flick based on a graphic novel and I really did enjoy the first installment of this title. Guillermo Del Torro is one of my favorite directors and he did a great job taking this book form the pages to film the first time so heres hoping for the sequel.

27 Dresses - January 11, 2008

I just think James Marsden is too dreamy for words.

When Did You Last See Your Father - May 28, 2008

Love these two brits. Prolly take the wifie to see this one and she’ll prolly cry every five minutes.

Sicko

December 29th, 2007 by admin

My baby is sick. She’s really stuffy, keeps coughing and sneezes about every other breath.

…on top of that I am forcing her to do the one thing she hates to do…stay still.

Kat has the tendency to take it easy for about an hour and then keep doing what she would normally do when she isn’t sick. I had to get mean with her this morning to get her to take today easy and stay in bed or on the couch. Luckily I went to blockbuster with my fuzzy baby and we picked up an incentive for Kat to stay in bed.

Catching Up: Chapter 4

December 18th, 2007 by admin

You all heard of our Caroling Party on Saturday this weekend. In fact, abot 75% of the people who read this blog were there. Here is a visual recap of the festivities in short.

My sweetness lead the way the whole trip and did a fabulous job

Our two soloists of the night who did a tearful rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear”

The majority of the group in action.

I love for these kinds of photos, so much happiness in one shot.

And here is a taste of the earth-shattering vocal demonstrations put on by our christmas caravan of carol crooning creatures:

On the way out from each house we would sing this song:

Once back from the singing tour we commenced with the white elephant exchange and Kyle LeDuc went home with the greatest gift of all…

The New Ellis’ graced us with their presence at dinner the other night. Once the food portion was finished the real business began…board games.

God’s gift to man, if you have not played it you have not lived!

Can you believe these two ladies settled for two dorks like Scott & I? Actually, Scott’s a pretty good catch. In fact, im still a little upset at Christina for taking him off the market so soon.
