Hey this is Evan posting on this new wordpress thingy, I am locked in Jon’s basement until I write something for all of his pictures. I know what you’re thinking, how did little Jon get a physical specimen like Evan down in the basement. The answer of course is chloroform on a rag. For the last month or so Jon has been going through about 8 years of digital photos on his computer, prepping the good ones for print and archiving the rest. The total number of pictures is in the 10’s of thousands so it is taking him little while but here is a little taste of some of the more humorous photos he has unearthed. I am going to be here for a while.

This is me playing guitar, doombeck, djembe, and singing at the same time one night when noone showed up for the jr hi worship band. It was fun, I did all of them poorly but I really believe in quantity over quality.

This is the cast of Rent on Broadway, I don’t really know why this is in here.

I believe this is Kyle’s foot, interesting fun fact, they actually caste his foot to make the prosthetic hobbit feet for the lord of the rings trilogies.

I know this looks like I am doing some clever titanic “ice berg right ahead” scene, but really I just poked myself pretty hard in the eye, boy did that smart. If you close the left eye too early your depth perception goes right out the window.

Kyle is running through the laser maze at spy training school, the water shooting out is to cool the laser nozzles. Don’t be fooled by Kyle’s giddy demeanor, he is in quite a lot of danger, one slip up could burn him badly or cut him in half, Kyle just really likes danger and loves spy school.

Mike Bouska also looks like he is enacting something from Titanic but really he is just trying to tan the underside of his arms.

This is from the old Jr. High days when Daniel was a mere lowly intern, not the pastor like he is now, but I like to think this little stunt helped propel him to the top. They called me in early that day so I was still wearing my leisure clothes, I didn’t know I would be performing. We were doing our version of pepto bismal commercial. I am nausea which is evident by the motion sickness patch under my arm which I am prominently displaying. Daniel is fighting his heartburn, his left hand is showing where his heart is, his right is beating away the burn. Sam is, you guessed it, diahrrea, he chose to exhibit his by means of explosive dysentery. It really was a night of awareness for the kids, they learned to no longer be afraid of their intestinal problems which I think we can all agree is truly life changing.
